Please submit your application to the current president. Elections are held at the end of the year.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Student President: 

1. RSO Re-Registration (at the beginning of each academic year, it is the President’s responsibility to do so by the deadline. When the time comes the President receives emailed, with further instruction.

2. Serve as primary liaison for the Student Board to the rest of the University community. This includes faculty and other RSOs. 

3. Speaking role during Spring & Fall Initiation ceremonies.

4. Schedule tabling events, Student Board meetings.

5. Speak at Honors Night in the Spring

6. Administrate the society’s Facebook Page & NoleCentral

7. Attend semesterly Election Meeting w/ Faculty Board

 

Vice President:

1. Speaking role during Spring & Fall Initiation ceremonies.

2. Help ensure the board is working in synchronicity. 

3. Participate in tabling events such as the Involvement Fair if available.

4. Assume the President’s role if he or she is unable to attend an event.

5. Attend semesterly Election Meeting w/ Faculty Board

 

Secretary:

1. Write minutes (notes) at Student Board meetings

2. Participate in tabling events

3. Minor speaking role at Initiation ceremonies. 

4. Attend semesterly Election Meeting w/ Faculty Board

5. Create the Program for Initiations (along w/ webmaster)

 

Treasurer:

1. If needed, submit a request for funding of an event (e.g. The Visiting Scholar’s program) to either the faculty treasurer, SGA through NoleCentral

2. Oversee fundraising efforts

3. Participate in tabling events

4. Collect receipts from Student Board for re-imbursement (bring to Faculty Treasurer) from meetings or other valid expenditures.

 

Communications Director:

1. Email to notify non-executive board members of upcoming events.

2. Manage the society’s Facebook Page & NoleCentral

3. Photograph Initiation ceremonies and events, uploading the images to facebook and providing them to the webmaster to upload to the website.

4. Participate in tabling events

5. Attend semesterly Election Meeting w/ Faculty Board

 

Event Coordinator

1. Orchestrate service projects including The Big Event, Relay for Life

2. Help find opportunities for PBK members to give back through mentoring or other liberal arts outreach

3. Attend meetings related to the above events

4. Participate in tabling events

5. Attend semesterly Election Meeting w/ Faculty Board

 

Involvement Chair

1. Participate in tabling events

2. Encourage invitees to accept our invitation

3. Attend semesterly Election Meeting w/ Faculty Board
